How To Draw A Triceratops – Allows Reach Begun!

Step 1

The Triceratops gets its name partly from the trio of spikes it wears on its face, so that’s where we’ll start in this guide on how to draw a triceratops. First, use curved lines for the dinosaur’s pointed, open mouth. Then finish with the contours of the face and the large rim at the back of the head. Next, add thin, sharp shapes for the three horns. Our reference image shows that the top two horns will be much larger than the one above the nose. Once you have completed all of these outlines, we can begin the second part of this guide.

Step 2 – Now remove some facial attributes for the Triceratops.

With the outline of the head complete, we can now start adding finer details to this area. There’s a lot to add in this step, so try to take it slow by reproducing the facts as they appear in our reference image of this triceratops drawing. These details will include the tongue and eyes, and we will also add lots of detail around the eyes. Next, draw line details on the rest of the head and the warrior for additional skin and bone texture. Once all these details have been removed, it will be time to move on to step 3!

Step 3 – Draw the back and tail of the Triceratops.

The back should be pretty simple to remove, as it will consist of a few curved, curved lines. The tail will be drawn using wavy lines culminating in a pointed tip at the end. Step 4 – Next, draw the front legs of the Triceratops

The legs are reasonably evenly thick throughout, and then they’ll end up with reasonably flat feet. Step 5 – Add Final Details to the Triceratops Drawing

Before colouring this drawing, we have a few more things to add to this step of our how-to-draw triceratops guide! First, we’ll remove the animal’s last hind leg. Use a few more curved lines to remove the back leg as it appears in our reference image. It will look smaller and thinner than the front legs, thanks to perspective, but otherwise, it will look much like the other legs. Then you can finish with curved body lines for rib detailing.
